That’s why you have to make sure that you have the website that they need for everything. Based on studies, a human being has an attention span of 9-10 seconds, so you have 7 seconds to capture their interest. Do you think you have it?

Here are some of the website mistakes you shouldn’t be making:

  1. NO CLEAR DEFINITION WHAT THE SITE IS ALL ABOUT AND QUALITY CONTENT.

There are web sites that don’t have any information on what the site is all about, so instead of staying you leave them after opening the page and reading the first paragraph for five seconds which results in less sales, customers and traffic. These are the sites that only show the navigation menu and don’t give people the opportunity to know what they can see in the website. There are people who struggle with very slow internet connection depending on the location or network provider and these kinds of websites don’t really help at all.

Make sure to provide quality content by being clear, concise and transparent especially with the prices and item specifications. Stop hiding the terms and conditions from your website visitors, you need it more than they need it to prevent any problems in the future.

  1. NOT-SO-INTERESTING HEADINGS, SIDE BARS AND LONG CATCH PHRASE

Headings are one of the best things in websites, usually they are the ones that people see first in everything when opening a web page and something that they usually remember together with the catch phrase. Make sure to choose a heading that’s worth waiting even when the internet is very slow, creating a warm and welcoming header will make them visit the website again. Stop making long catch phrase, remember passing the message can be very difficult when it’s has lots of words in it.

  1. HARD TO APPRECIATE IMAGES AND LONG VIDEOS

Images are a big thing in websites, especially whenever people choose which item to buy for their families and friends. And it has a huge influence in their decision-making, would you buy something that you can’t even distinguish what color is it or if you’re not sure what it looks like?
